Hello!

Hello, I’m Samantha! I am currently pursuing a degree in Advertising, with a concentration in Marketing and Public Relations at Marquette University. Passionate about creating impactful brand stories and connecting with diverse audiences, I work to help brands communicate their values in authentic and meaningful ways.

I have past experience working at a local events space, where I assisted with content creation, social media campaigns, and market research, and data analysis. That experience helped me develop a deeper understanding of consumer behavior and refine my ability to craft strategic messaging and presentations. My academic journey has equipped me with skills in strategic planning, conversing with different publics, understanding different target audiences, creating campaigns, and digital marketing. I enjoy applying these in real-world projects.

I believe in the power of aesthetics, collaboration, and creativity, and my goal is to pursue a career in digital marketing, specializing in social media strategy and consumer engagement.

Outside of academics and professional work, I enjoy photography and traveling. Originally from Illinois, I love exploring new ideas and staying engaged with emerging trends in advertising and marketing.

Campbells Soup Campaign

This campaign was made for my ADVE 4100 class. This campaign allowed me to create a promotional strategy campaign to revitalize the brand. This project was completed in half a semester. The problem for this company was decline in popularity in sales, thus needing a rebrand. I utilized sales of Campbells products in recent years, as well as took advertising lessons learn in the course to implement specific strategies and tactics.

My plan of action was to rebrand Campbells by really diving into that nostalgic feeling. My new target audience was Gen Z and Millennials who were starting to be on their own for the first time. When they see Campbells, I wanted them to be reminded of home, as well have the feeling of dependability of the products. The campaign was reviewed by an expert and deemed a successful promotional strategy in the course.

ADPR Dove Campaign

This campaign was created by my classmate Megan and I. This project focused on analyzing a successful campaign with evidence to support. The objective was deciphering information to find the success of a campaign. Our action was then to highlight the emotional response from consumers via social media engagement.

We used social media engagement statistics to study reactions from consumers. Dove's #TurnYourBack campaign focused on embracing natural beauty and not believing all that social media provides is real. This project was a success to the class who concluded based on evidence provided, the campaign was a success.

Marketing Consulting Competition MARK 4050

Students in MARK 4050 had the opportunity to work with Visit Milwaukee in efforts of creating new and unique ways of promoting the Milwaukee Theatre District. Our team was given insights and a budget from Visit Milwaukee to see what we would come up with. Specifically, the task at hand was to grab the attention of tourist and visitors outside of the city. Our activation would be implemented during a specific season that would resonate with our target audience of visitors of Milwaukee. Our direction for this project was creating an interactive QR code scavenger hunt around the city. With this, people could experience Milwaukee's city life, as well as discovering new information about the theatre district at each QR code sign placed strategically around the city.
